The Byblos modular bookcase is ideal for use in the center of a room to define spaces in living areas, entryways, hallways, etc., because the shelves and back panels are reversible, perfectly finished on the front and back, and can be mounted on the front or back of the bookcase, even alternating them. The design is characterized by the transparency of the tempered glass uprights in clear or smoked glass, which give this freestanding bookcase a sophisticated yet lightweight look. Open shelves and sliding-door cabinets in 25/18 mm eco-friendly laminate complete the structure. Don't be fooled by the lightness of the transparency of the glass; it's much more solid and stable than a standard bookcase with laminate uprights. The 10 mm thick tempered glass is extremely durable, and the bookcase has a high load capacity: each shelf is certified for a maximum load of 20 kg.
