The Japan collection is the result of the collaborative work between Davide Bozzini , of the Opaca Lab studio, and Nicola Tonin , of the Tosca Design studio.
The collection consists of three suspension lamps and a floor lamp, all with diffused and direct light.
Contemporary finishes and linear shapes are the expression of a concept linked to the culture of the rising sun : to clean up the superfluous, bringing to light the essential. The oriental imagery is also represented in a more didactic key. The black or white steel lampshade recalls the conical shape of the typical straw hat used by oriental rice farmers, while the chromed rod recalls the chopsticks used by women to tie up their hair.
