Design and materials
The Eide CB2188-A chair features a frame and backrest made of solid beech wood, a natural material obtained directly from the tree trunk through mechanical processes. The aesthetic and grain characteristics are unique to the wood used. The wide, enveloping backrest is achieved by steam-bending the solid wood, which allows for a sinuous shape without weakening the wood fibers.
The padded seat is covered in two types of material: Ekos eco-leather or Cros fabric.
