DESCRIPTION

The Malvasia chair by S•CAB, designed by Francesca Lanzavecchia, is a contemporary outdoor chair, designed to enliven any outdoor space with interplays of light and shadow. The combination of metallic textures and minimalist lines makes it an ideal solution for modern, elegant, and functional spaces.

Crafted from high-quality materials, it is designed to last and withstand daily use without sacrificing aesthetics. The Malvasia chair stands out for its metalwork, which evokes the warp and weft of fabric and the interplay of shadows in a treetop.

The seat and backrest are made from a single perforated and curved piece, welded almost invisibly to the tubular frame, for a lightweight yet solid structure.

Thanks to its versatility, it easily adapts to both domestic spaces and larger contexts such as outdoor areas and contract environments.

Design and materials

The Malvasia chair features a seat and backrest in perforated and calendered metal, a complex process that pushes the material to its limits of flexibility and softens its coldness.

The four-legged frame in ø 20 mm tubular steel, galvanized and polyester powder coated, creates a light and contemporary visual effect, contrasting with the rigorous textures.

Upon request, the seat can be completed with seat and back cushions or just the seat, for even more personalized comfort.

Finishes

The chair is available in different finishes to suit any environment:
● metal structure finishes (ZA, ZE, ZH, ZK, ZL, ZS, ZT, ZV)
● optional seat and back cushions (art. 1499)
● optional cushions for the seat only (art. 1494)
