Design and materials

The New York stool is composed of a machined and welded steel frame, with the circular base, ring-shaped footrest, and backrest supports all made of the same material and finish. The chrome version, obtained through a galvanic process that fixes a layer of chrome to the frame, creates a shiny, glossy effect; the matte black version is powder-coated in a double layer for a more contemporary and soft look.

The seat and backrest are both padded and upholstered in three types of material: Ekos eco-leather; Vintage eco-leather; genuine leather, with the finishes and characteristics of natural leather.
