Design and materials

The Academy CB1696 chair features a machined and welded steel sled frame, finished in matte black or chrome powder coating. The sled profile, with no separate front legs, allows the chair to glide silently across the floor and fit perfectly into the chairs below when stacked.

The shell is available in polypropylene; or padded and upholstered in Ekos eco-leather, Vintage eco-leather, or Mat fabric, for a softer, more enveloping version suitable for prolonged use and more prestigious contexts.
