Baxton sofa

Baxton is a sofa that stands out for its original seat: without a cushion, slightly recessed at the base, so as to avoid rubbing shoes, it can slide forward and become a chaise-longue. The back and seat cushions are anchored by a divisible hinge. The application of a special fabric allows the cushions to not slip.

STRUCTURE
Made with solid fir wood blocks of various thicknesses. Filling parts in raw fiber and / or poplar plywood. Sides in agglomerated wood with low formaldehyde emission (class E1). Back panel made of poplar plywood anchored to the base by galvanized bayonets.

MOBILE SEAT
Frame in agglomerated wood and solid fir wood supported by anti-mark rubber wheels. It runs on a patented mobile system, consisting of a steel frame painted with epoxy powders, equipped with an adjustment handwheel for sliding on non-slip rubber wheels.

SUSPENSION
Made with mechanically stretched 80 mm elastic tapes, composed of rubber threads covered with a spiral-wound nylon thread.

PADDING
Seat cushion fixed to the frame in non-deformable foam with D35SR density, covered with 200 gr polyester resinate. Back cushion in flexible and non-deformable polyurethane foam density D16S covered in 300 gr. Back and arm padding parts covered with non-deformable foam density 35 FR. All coated with 200 gr resinate. polyester coupled with velveteen in jersey.

FEET
For fixed part in black ABS with H 25 mm not visible.
