MERIAN CS5136-P fixed coffee table by Calligaris
is an innovative coffee table in shaded screen-printed glass, elegant and extremely versatile thanks to the tones chosen for the glass finishes.
The nuances, which vary from shaded to full color, give the set up space a lively and delicate style at the same time.
The project was born observing the watercolors of Maria Sibylla Merian. Naturalist, explorer and artist, drawing insects she discovered in the second half of the 17th century the metamorphosis of caterpillars into butterflies. Merian tables recall the shades of watercolors and the love for organic forms.
