Colored chairs are trending and will increasingly be chosen to furnish homes in the coming months.
What are the most beautiful colors to watch out for, and how to choose the most suitable colored chairs for each room in the house?
What are chairs for in the home? Chairs are essential furnishing elements to create welcoming and functional spaces. We use them in various ways, either alone or paired with a table in the kitchen or dining room.
Chairs can be used in different areas of the house, both indoors and outdoors (gardens, balconies, terraces, patios…). They come in various materials, colors, and finishes.
This year, however, all eyes are on colored chairs—comfortable and designer. What are the most popular models to date, and which ones should you choose for a trendsetting home?
This year brings many new developments in furniture. There’s an explosion of warm colors paired with soft, velvety fabrics. We also see the return of fluid shapes and the confirmation that wood remains one of the most beloved materials in the design and definition of furniture and decor, as well as the growing appreciation for recycled and eco-friendly materials.
We therefore have several interesting proposals to explore: chairs made of wood or with wood finishes, particularly dark woods that evoke a quiet luxury aesthetic—very fashionable this year—that brings a sophisticated touch to our homes.
Colored wooden chairs may have natural, glossy, or matte finishes.
Matte wooden chairs are on-trend in 2024, especially in intense shades like black or anthracite gray, which pair well with urban and industrial décor styles.

Petrol blue chairs are perfect for elegant settings but also go well with urban chic design interiors, a very popular furnishing trend this year as well, reinterpreted according to the type of living space.
Light blue, as well as sky blue and powder blue, are more versatile yet impactful solutions for more informal spaces, along with the ever-relevant dusty grey.
